How have you and the community helped shape the new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre?

Many of you gave us valuable input detailing your vision for a new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre via our recent online and hard copy survey. The survey period has ended, and the results can be found here. (pdf, 4.4MB)

Thank you for your attendance and participation at the recent Magnetic North Van Information Session!  It was extremely valuable to engage in discussion with you on the project vision and emerging concept design. A summary of what we heard can be found below:

How will you ride your new skate plaza?

As part of the new HJCRC, we’re going to replace the skate plaza with a brand new one. Meanwhile, we’re working on plans for a temporary skate plaza in a new location during construction.

We received some great feedback at the April/ May workshops and had some great conversations at the recent CityFEST on May 5th – thanks to all who attended!
